ABOUT THE LOCATION.
You will stay at the Kasbah du Toubkal, perched on a rocky outcrop with spectacular panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains valleys and Berber villages. The Kasbah (1800m), just 60km from Marrakech, is situated at the foot of the highest peak in North Africa. It is reached by footpaths that weave through lush, irrigated terraces, apple orchards and walnut groves. The Kasbah provides the perfect combination of peace and inspiration whilst providing the best of modern comfort.

Trebbe Johnson is the founder and executive director of Radical Joy for Hard Times a non-profit organization devoted to finding and making beauty in mounded places. She is the author of The World Is a UJaiting Lover and numerous articles that explore the relationship between people and nature. Since 1995 she has been offering programs ujorldujide that combine the mythic quest, the personal search for meaning, and the discovery of ujisdom and insight through nature. She lives in Pennsylvania, in the eastern LIS.
